HOLPOSON®C8 is an eight-carbon fluorine-containing finishing agent, which imparts excellent water and oil repellency, soft hand feeling and washing resistance to various fibers. It is suitable for cotton, polyester, cellulose fibers and their blended fabrics, and has excellent mechanical stability and continuous performance. HOLPOSON®C8 is a high-concentration fluorine-based finishing agent. After finishing, the fabric has a high level of durability and waterproof and oil-repellent properties. And can be suitable for the following standards: waterproof AATCC 22, oil-proof AATCC118 and other testing standards.

Usage:

HOLPOSON® C8 water repellent is usually processed and used by padding.

Recommended formula: The use concentration of the standard formula varies according to the target fiber material. In general, the standard concentration is:

Waterproof and oil-proof finishing agent HOLPOSON® ECORING C8: 20-50g/L

Drying conditions ：100～120℃ ×1～3 minutes

Baking conditions： 150～170℃ ×1～3 minutes

Characteristics:

1. Excellent water resistance — HOLPOSON® C8 gives cotton and other cellulose fibers, polyester, nylon and other synthetic fibers and their blended fabrics excellent water and oil resistance.

2. Stability — The processing effect has excellent durability, and the good waterproofness can be restored after being washed and dried naturally.

Attentions:

1. Fluorinated finishing agent usually has the effect of deepening the color. Please confirm the color of the finished product in advance.

2. The fluorine-containing water-repellent finishing agent may affect the various properties (strength, softness, slippage, electrification, etc.), color, and fastness of the processed fabric. When using it, please make it fully beforehand. Preliminary test.

3. Antistatic agent, softener, penetrant and other auxiliaries can be mix-used. Please fully confirm their compatibility and influence on water and oil-resistance in advance. When preparing, please dilute all kinds of finishing agents at least 2-3 times before mixing.

4. Please use water below 40 ℃ when diluting the product, and control the working solution’s temperature below 40 ℃ during processing.

5. Please adjust the pH value of the working solution below 7 (weak acidic). Strong acidic and alkaline conditions will affect the waterproof and oil-proof performance.

6. Please use the prepared working solution as soon as possible to avoid deposition in the solution.

7. Please wash the fabric to be treated thoroughly to minimize the remaining of hydrophilic or ionic substances.

8. Because the resin residue is easy to accumulate on the roller, it must be cleaned with hot water for a certain period of time during processing, and should not be exposed to a dry environment for a long time, otherwise the sticky sticks will be difficult to remove if the drying time is too long.

Precautions on storage:

1. Please keep this product within the range of 5-35℃, avoid direct sunlight, and store it in a closed manner. Storage under freezing and long-term high temperature may have a bad effect on the quality.

2. When taking this product out of the container, please stir it evenly.
